Description
French translation by J.B.R. Robinet based on English translation by Nathaniel Brassey Halhed. The latter was made from the Vivādārṇavasētu, a digest of Hindu law, compiled for Warren Hastings by several pandits. Some bibliographers attribute the French translation to J. N. Demeunier.
