Description

The first vol. contains a translation of: Political arithmetic / Arthur Young. The second vol. contains a translation of: An inquiry into the connection between the present price of provisions and the size of farms by John Arbuthnot and a translation of: Of the present state of agriculture in the British dominions, which is Essay III of Arthur Young's Political essays concerning the present state of the British empire. A reissue, with new t.p., of the 1775 ed., which was published under the title: Arithmétique politique. Cf. Quérard, v.10, p. 555.
