The work is mistakenly attributed to Oliver Goldsmith, but is more likely to be by Arthur Murphy. Mistakenly attributed to Samuel Jackson Pratt, the author of a 19th century poem entitled The triumph of benevolence. Cf, Martin, A.A. Bib. romanesque, 73.30.
