Attributed to Charles Sorel. First published anonymously in 1623, increased to 11 volumes in the 2nd ed. (1626); the 1633 ed. included a 12th volume.
Each v. has an illustrated engraved t.p., in addition to the letterpress t.p., which reads: La vraye histoire comique de Francion. Avec figures. A Leyde : Chez Henry Drummond. M.DCC.XXI.
