A folding leaf of genealogies, unsigned, is between the list of translators and the chronological table. Publisher's booklist (Gillyflower, 2pp.) precedes main text. Leaf V2 (pp.291-2) missing, replaced by an extra copy of V4 (pp.295-6). Armorial bookplate of James Durham of Largo pasted inside front cover, with ink pressmark written on it, covering legible inscriptions. Pencil signature of W.H.P. Gibson, Aug. 1940, on front flyleaf
