Graesse VII, p. 9-10, note, states that this edition is preferable to an earlier one that contained a similar selection, Amsterdam 1672, and in which the text was "quelquefois changé sur des conjectures, mais sans consulter des mss...." In the ed. at hand, "les mss. de Florence ont été collationnés plus exactement."
