Description

Consists of 16 discourses, each (except the first) with special title page, on a variety of subjects. One is by Sir Philip Sidney and one by Sir Francis Walsingham; the rest are by Cotton. "The life and raign of Henry the Third", listed in the contents, is replaced with "The danger wherein this kingdome now standeth" (dated 1651).
