This file, marked 'Publication Folder' by Crossley-Holland, contains correspondence relating to 'The Stones Remain'.
The first file of letters is grouped as follows:
- Papers marked Andy Rafferty, including 11 items of correspondence between Rafferty and Crossley-Holland (18 June 1987 - 26 March 1990)
- Papers marked Research notes, comprising contains ms, ts and printed research notes (4 ff.), and a pamphlet for a self-guided walking tour
- Papers marked Personal, including 8 ts and ms items of correspondence between Clive Dunn at Seventh House Films and Crossley-Holland (12 Oct 1988 - 30 March 1990), discussing a possible film project; and 1 ms letter from Peter Crossley-Holland (3 Aug 1988)
- Papers marked Century Hutchinson, comprising 32 letters between Crossley-Holland and Century publishers concerning the publication of The Stones Remain (13 Dec 1986 - 30 April 1990)
- Papers marked Agent, including 13 letters between Crossley-Holland and Deborah Rogers at Rogers, Coleridge & White (15 June 1986-7 Dec 1988).
The second file contains correspondence regarding: 'Tumbler Hill', 'Whiteleaf Cross' and revision of rights; the file also contains: photocopy of an extract from a 1979 book for research material about 'Whiteleaf'.
