On title page of volumes 1-4: "In four volumes". Volumes 5-9 (1809) have the title: "Annals of the French Revolution; with a variety of anecdotes and characters hitherto unpublished... The second edition; to which are annexed, the correspondence of the author with the late Right Hon. Charles James Fox, and a refutation of all the publications of Helen Maria Williams on the French Revolution".
