- 7 typescript letters from John Fisher to Hill (24 September 1986 - 19 May 1988), and 3 cc typescript letters from Hill to Fisher (8 October 1986 - 27 October 1987);

- 1 typescript letter from Bob Hind to Hill (19 December 1986);

- 2 typescript letters from R.E. Waller to Hill (20 August 1992 - 23 November 1992), and 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Waller (16 November 1992).Held with these items are 2 ff ms notes; pages extracted from a publisher's catalogue; copies of published versions of Allott Lectures by Seamus Heaney ('The Making of Music: Reflections on the Poetry of Wordsworth and Yeats', delivered 9 February 1978), Donald Davie ('Kenneth Allott and the Thirties', delivered 17 January 1980), and Charles Tomlinson ('The Sense of the Past: Three Twentieth-Century British Poets', delivered 21 October 1982); and a copy of W.W. Robson's Annual Hopkins Lecture, 'Hopkins and Literary Criticism' (delivered 4 March 1974).
