This file contains reference material on T.S. Eliot collected by Hill, including articles by William Arrowsmith. Includes:
- a typescript letter from Alistair and Jennifer Stead (23 December 1988), referring to Hill's T.S. Eliot Centenary Lecture at the University of Leeds, and accompanied by a photocopy of the contents, preface and chapter 2 of Kristian Smidt's The Importance of Recognition (1973);
- a typescript of William Arrowsmith's Grave Prattle: Eliot's Le Directeur (29 ff);
- a photocopy of Arrowsmith's article Eros in Terre Haute: T.S. Eliot's Lune de Miel (New Criterion, October 1982)
