Typescript copy. Spine lettered "Clay & Earnshaw stock, 1812 & 1814" Very full and detailed inventory and valuation of stock (raw materials, goods in various processes of manufacture and finished pieces, plus machinery and fitments) December 31st 1812 (& 1814).


Listed under various departments of the mill and warehouse, e. g. Woolshop, Reelers' chamber, Mending room, Scouring house, Dyehouse, Ironing room, Press shop, Dressing shops, "Room at Ripponden". Includes food and supplies in barn, rents due and raw materials and fitments in hands of various named weavers.


Also given are: Money Clay & Earnshaw owed. Stock on 1st January 1812 (& 1814). Amount taken out by J Clay. Amount taken out by W Earnshaw. [From these is calculated J Clay's and W Earnshaw's share of profits on the two half -years of 1812 (& 1814)]. List of debts owing to Clay and Earnshaw, naming debtors. List of creditors with amounts owed. J. Clay's and W. Earnshaw's Interest account - monthly; detailed with amount withdrawn. 1814 account includes slubbing in named spinners' hands.
