Summary:
Bound collection of quires written on different paper inscribed by at least 7 different Italian Hebrew hands; containing sermons and divre Torah for various occasions including weddings and a circumcision; in folios 66v, 67v, 68v, 69v, 70v, 71v, 72v, 73v, 74v, 75v are writing exercises in which the Hebrew and Latin alphabet is repeatedly written in cursive script; probably by יוסף קוצר or “Iseppo” (see at the end of the letter of the Alphabet).
Folio 13r (originally blank): “Salomon Simon oreffice”, “David oreffice heb[re]o”, “David Oreffice rimando questi due righe per salutare e per dirvi che Verona”, et cetera; folio 40r (originally blank): “David Oreffice” and אני שמעון.
Folios 14–15: Sermon signed by גרשון כהן (Gershon Kohen).
Folio 18: Devar Torah on occasion of a circumcision; דוד דולצינה (Daṿid Dulcina) and יוסף (Yosef) and יודיטה (Yudiṭah) are mentioned.
Folio 40r (originally blank): “5472 = 1712 (Hezekiah Bassani?)” inscribed by Roth in pencil below “David Oreffice” and אני שמעון; refers likely to sermon beginning on folio 56v: דרוש לשבת חה׳׳מ של סוכות תפ׳׳ב.
