1. folios 1r–13r: הלכות פסח; novellae about Mishnah Pesaḥim 3:1 and Ṭur Oraḥ Ḥayim, Hilkhot Pesaḥ, 429–437; draft with corrections.
2. folios 14v–163v : Notes in Hebrew with Judaeo-Italian and Italian; majority of notes are for sermons delivered to confraternities (חברת שומרי הבוקר) and in synagogue in Padua; [1680] שבת תשובה התמ׳׳א (folio 63v); [1681] במדבר ... האמ׳׳ת (folio 68r); [1672] שבת הגדול התל׳׳ב (folio 88v); [1672] סיום של׳׳ב שנת התל׳׳ב (folio 163v).
3. folio 16v: Letter (draft), Tuesday, 21 Ṭevet 443 [19 January 1683], the leaders of the Jewish community in Padova to יעקב הלוי (Yaʿaḳov ha-Leṿi) regarding the collection of money for the poor in Hebron; the letter is signed : נאם הצעיר ... ישראל חזקיה באשאן ... בשם מע׳ הפרנסים שומרי המשמרת הקדש; it begins אנחנו צעירי הצאן ק׳׳ק פאדובה.
4. folio 17: Regulations of the fraternity חברת שבים, agreed upon on יום ב׳ י׳׳ח גיינאר שצ׳׳ב [Monday? (should be Sunday), 18 January 1632].
5. folio 81 (bound-in smaller leaf; contemporary paper): Lessons on Hebrew grammar: בנין נפעל : הוראותיו ארבע; likely written by a secondary contemporary hand.
6. folios 95v–97r: Draft of regulations for communal cheese-maker.
7. folio 163r: Letter of appointment, Ṭevet 482 [December 1681/January 1682], for Yaʿaḳov ha-Leṿi as representative (מורשה) and emissary (שד׳׳ר) of Hebron; signed by: מאיר בן חייא רופא, יצחק עראחה [=ארחא?], שלום אבן אדר, אברהם קונקי, מרדכי זאבי, נחמיה ד?נינו, אברהם זאבי, חייא זאבי, ברזילי בן שמואל הכהן.
State of text: Folios 98–100 very fragile; 1 leaf is torn out after folio 98; unclear whether with loss of text; in general, frayed edges with loss of some text; pest damage; stained; faded ink, felting paper; item underwent some conservation work which concerned its end-papers.

Printed leaf : צורת החידה (emblem puzzle with enigmatic poem; no drawing) composed by ישעיה בן ישראל חזקיה באסאן (Yeshaʿyah ben Yiśraʾel Ḥizḳiyah Basan) (1673–1739) on occasion of a wedding; opening words of introduction: אגרא דבי הלולא מילי דבדיחותא : לקיים מצות;opening words of riddle: זקן שבע ימים (fragile, damaged with loss of text; kept in envelope with item).
2. British Museum Library book request form completed by Roth on 22 March 1925 (in pocket attached to back paste-down).
