Hebrew title supplied from heading (probably added later) on first leaf recto and by cataloguer.


Part 2 is incomplete; breaks up in the middle of chapter 46.

1. folio 1–61: Part 1.

2. folio 61–64: זוהר כתיבת יד פרשת בלק (Zohar, ketivat yad : parashat Balaḳ).

3. folio 65: blank.

4. folio 66–74: Part 2, until chapter 46.


Part 2 (folios 66–74) is written by a second hand.


State of text: Incomplete (see above); closely trimmed margins; some staining and tears, especially in the last quire of the item; item underwent conservation work.


Insertion:

Fragment of leaf not connected to the content of MS Roth 410; inscribed with jottings, "Psalmi de Davide" and "1780" on one side, and on the other with a Hebrew benediction.

Catchwords: horizontal, generally on rectos and versos.

Ruling: traces of some horizontal ruled lines in pencil or plummet, and of vertical bounding lines in hard point.

Number of lines: folios 1–64: generally 21; folios 66–74: generally 36.

Script: Italian cursive Hebrew script.

Ms.: width 143mm height 208mm

Binding

Thick white paper wrapper overcover on thin paper wrapper made of same paper as item’s quires; both inserted into archival paper wrapper for protection; red-sprinkled leaf edges; held in custom-made box covered with brown cloth.
