Description

Hebrew title supplied by cataloguer. English title derived from Roth, "Catalogue", in Alexander Marx: Jubilee Volume, vol. 1 (New York, 1950), no. 406.

Variant titles:

Parshanut ʿal ha-Zohar. פרשנות על הזוהר.

Date of production: Roth dates the item to the "18th century" (see his Catalogue", 406); the Online Catalogue of the National Library of Israel (NLI) dates it to the 16th century.

The name משה is marked in several places (like in folios 22r and 123r); likely referring to Mosheh Cordovero and not to the name of the copyist.

State of text: Incomplete, end is missing; stained; underwent conservation work; re-bound; leaves repaired with tissue.
