Part of an illuminated manuscript of Sefer shofṭim of Mishneh Torah with leaves missing at its beginning (likely 1st quire and 6 leaves of 2nd quire) and end; written in black, red, yellow and green ink decorated with red, yellow and green ornaments.
According to Roth, "Catalogue", 232, the item contains " some important variants, and a tendency to a purer Hebrew than in the printed texts."

1. folios 1r–19v: הלכות סנהדרין; chapters 11(end)–26; folio 13 (=first leaf of quire numbered with ג) it misbound; it contains end of chapter 15 and beginning of chapter 16, and should have followed folio 4 (=last leaf of quire numbered with ב).
2. folios 19v–41v: הלכות עדות; chapters 1–22 (complete).
3. folios 41v–45v: הלכות ממרים; chapters 1–4(first half).
State of text: Incomplete (see below Collation); folio 13 misbound (see above Contents:); fragile, brown, damaged with loss of text; unprofessional repair of some leaves with tape; professionally rebound with leaves on guards.
