The manuscript part of the composite codex is bound with the second edition of Sefer Tefilat yesharim by Yehudah Aryeh ben Yitsḥaḳ Modena (‏Venice: Nella Stamparia Bragadina, 514 [1753 or 1754]); a detailed description of the edition, see in Bibliography of the Hebrew Book (online catalogue of the NLI), system-no. 000302236.


Contents of manuscript part:

1. folios 1–6: פתיחת אליהו (reading from the introduction to Tiḳune ha-Zohar before the morning or afternoon service).

2. folios 7–8: ‏תפלה נאה לאומרה קודם התפלות והלימודים‏:‏ ‏רבונו של עולם אתה יודע כי בשר אנחנו‏.

3. folios 9r–12r: בקשה לאומרה קודם כל תפלה נאה וחשובה‏:‏ ‏אנא י״י הושיעה נא‏.

4. folios 12v–13r: תפלה לאומרה קודם כל תפלה‏:‏ ‏יהי רצון מלפניך י״י ‏‏.‏.‏.‏ ‏שתכניע כל המקטרגים‏.

5. folios 13v–14v: Affirmation of the Thirteen Principles of Faith (י״‏ג‏ עיקרים‏).

6. folios 14v–15r: ‏תפלה להתפלל בכל יום בכוונה והיא כלולה מעשר זכירות‏.

7. folios 15v–20r: ‏ויש מי שאומר פסוקים האלה‏ (verses are numbered with Hebrew letters from א to יוד).


State of text: Some ink corrosion and seepage; margins of both items are closely trimmed; relatively well preserved; underwent conservation work.
