Some slight damage to the final three leaves.
Bindings
Twentieth-century full binding of paper over pasteboard. Stamped in black on the smooth spine are the words: Vergerius De ingenuis moribus Brexia 1495. Also on the spine is the Brotherton Collection stamp in black. The leaf edges have been cropped and are sprinkled red. Size: 198 x 147mm. Leaf size: 191 x 142mm.
Provenance
Oval purple library stamps on leaves a1v and d9r have been rubbed out and are now indistinct.
Small blue and white armorial bookplate of Lord Brotherton on the front pastedown. The book was most likely acquired after 17 June 1929 when Sir Edward Allen Brotherton was created Baron Brotherton of Wakefield.
