SC MS 822 (Le Patourel Papers) Classification Scheme

Note: The numbers included within brackets refer to individual manuscripts listed in the draft catalogue compiled by M.C. Davis under the supervision of P.S. Morrish between 1986 and 1992. The manuscript draft, extending to some 115 numbered folios (plus a few folios inserted by Mr Morrish at the editing stage), summarizes the contents of groups of Correspondence, but includes rather more detailed descriptive entries for the majority of the papers. It is available for consultation by customers on request, as is an incomplete card index to correspondents with Le Patourel represented in the Correspondence section listed below. Customers should consult the Idealist Catalogue Database for collection-level records for five additional, but much smaller, collections of Le Patourel’s papers, held at MSS 578, 580, 796, 818, and 1555.
